THE PLACE THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY

“Farm Cultural Park” is an outdoor/indoor art gallery and artist residence in Favara located in the province of Agrigento. It is the first cultural park built for tourism in Sicily. Established on June 25th , 2010 by the Eng. Andrea Bartoli and his wife Florinda Saieva. It is located within the Bentivegna Courtyard, which consists of seven small courtyards that house small Arab palaces and it is located near the town center of Favara . As well as the museum it has also been proposed as a cultural and tourist center where artists stage temporary and permanent art exhibitions and installations of contemporary art. In addition to the residence for artists various courses of architecture are carried out along with book presentations.
The main purpose of this project is to recover the entire historical center of Favara and transform the town into the second tourist attraction in the province of Agrigento after the Valley of the Temples .

The three places that inspired this project are:
- The Palais de Tokyo in Paris, home of contemporary culture and also a place of entertainment;
- Marrakech, Morocco's main square, a charming place and full of entertainment and refreshment;
- Camden Market Town, where you can buy objects of any kind and eat food from anywhere in the world.

The British blog Purple Travel has placed “Farm Cultural Park” and Favara in sixth place in the world as a tourist destination of contemporary art, preceded by Florence, Paris , Bilbao, the islands of Greece and New York.
