SAN LEONE – AGRIGENTO’S BEACH SIDE

The most famous and popular beach side of Agrigento is San Leone. In summer it is one of many destinations for many holidaymakers, who have kilometers of fine sand beaches at their disposal.

A relaxing walk among the high palms along the promenade "Falcone e Borsellino" is made even more fascinating, especially in the last hours of light when the sun disappears behind the same blue African sea described by Luigi Pirandello in his works. Young people find nightclubs where they can dance until the morning or have a friendly chat at the many sea front cafés and the Lido has a small tourist port where boats can dock.
